We seemed to continue the hot bats from the previous night's late inning bruising of the baseball. We only got to play 3 innings on Saturday, but we sent 24 batters to the plate (Maximum is 27 in 3 innings) and of those 24 batters, 22 put the ball in play. To understand the gravity of this, consider that the Angels sent 16 batters to the plate (Minimum is 9 in 3 innings) and put the ball in play 10 times. Our defense has improved greatly, they put the ball in play 10 times and we recorded 3 outs and only allowed them to score 1 run!!!
Remember the goal at the start of the season was go through an entire game without having one player strike out. If we continue at this rate of improvement, it should be a reality soon.
Game balls were a battle again, but two players' stats shined through. Dawson (2-2 2 runs) and Brayden (2-2 2 runs).
Chase 1-2 1 run
Scott 0-2 1 run
Trevor 2-2 1 Run
Dawson 2-2 2 Runs
Braydon 2-2 2 Runs
Colton D 1-2 1 Run
Nicholas 2-2 1 Run
Tanner 1-2 1 Run
Dylan 2-2 0 Runs
Weldon 1-2 1 Run
Charles 0-2 0 Runs
Benjamin 0-1 0 Runs
Colton V 0-1 0 Runs
Red Sox 10 Angels 1
