There are defining moments that come along in sports. Thats what make the games great. One of those moments presented itself against the Rangers. The Rangers are the only team to beat the Red Sox this year, and all the boys knew it, then, we get news that Dylan and  Brayden are going to be unavailable for the game...OUCH thats 2 really good hitters, but more importantly it 2 very good gloves.

When the bell rang the Red Sox answered it with maybe the best "leather" we have flashed all year as a team. We had some defensive stops that were great....on some very hard hit balls.

The Rangers jumped out early to a 4 run lead after 1/2 inning, then they followed up with some sound defense holding us to just one (1) run in the bottom half of the 1st.

Remember that defining moment I spoke about?   The second inning we SHUT the bats down for the Rangers, sitting them down 1-2-3!!!!Then Weldon, Colton v., Charles, and Nicholas each came up with singles to make the score 4-2.....and up came COLTON DOMINGUEZ with a GRAND SLAM!!!! Not to be outdone, Dawson followed up with his end of a back to back HR's...Making the score 8-4 after 2 innings. Then the Red Sox made another statement on "D" stopping the Rangers with 3 defensive put-outs!!!

The Red Sox then decided to pour it on a little by scoring a quick 3 in the bottom half
