Posted 18/06/2008 09:21:21 PM | | Those of you parents that were around 2.5 seasons ago remember what it was like to be the Twins. We were a bunch of "scrappy" 6 and 7 year olds on that team that really like playing together and it stuck, so expect this Twins team to be just like us in 2 years!
It was GREAT to play on the NICEST Little League Fields in AMERICA (if not the WORLD). I could have stayed out there another 6 innings. I felt like I was 8 years old again. The kids really responded and put on a hitting show off of the 2 old arms.
Jay's pitching line reads like this 16 Runs on 18 HITS with 0 K's 1 Hit BY Pitch and a 32.00 ERA over 3 innings of Work
Steven's line is 11 Runs on 13 HITS with 2 K's 2 HBP and a 22.00 ERA.
Jay was the better "Coach Pitcher" tonight and I was a little like Charlie Sheen from MAJOR LEAGUE (WILD THING) so next week the kids better not dig in at the plate
Gameballs went to Dawson 3-4 with 3 Runs and 3 RBI and Charles 3-4 with 2 Runs and 2 RBI
We are CREEPING up on the 2 goals of .600 Batting avereage and 250 Runs.
